Very neat effects that went well with the music, but the only part I didn't understand was the beginning. I think if you had ended on the same note it might have tied things in together more.
I think if you would have started filming with preparation for playing pool as opposed to opening up that beef stick thing, then it would have been overall more cohesive.
The breaking shot, awesome. No other words for it. I think some of the other shots of pool got to be too much, and lost some of the excitement of the visual aspect. I would've liked to see other exciting things.
I liked how you took a simple idea and scene and really did make it feel exciting. I think some of the effects and transitions you used were a little over the top, but you really did convey excitement! Nice job.
Oh my gosh, I love this so much! I was basically bouncing in my seat when the beat hit right when the balls were struck. It was extremely satisfying. The music is perfect for excitement, it made me feel kind of pumped up! The only thing that kind of put me off was that scene of the balls being struck repeated. I understand the desire effect, but there got a point where it was kind of overkill. Other than that, it was great!
You had me tuned in to this video not only with the thrilling music but also with the editing that you brought to the video. The editing went along well with the music and kept me enjoying the video. Also liked your enthusiasm and was great that you put yourself in the video.
I feel like some of the effects applied to the video were great, however, I felt like some of those were being overused. Maybe decrease the time that you use those repetition effects. I also liked how they were in sync with the music.
I think the video portrays the feeling very well- especially with when the music went along with the pool shots ( the break) and i also think that the music was very upbeat and made you feel "excited"

ReplyDeleteReally cool effects man! Shows your talent with Premiere. What was with the jerky though? Pre-pool ritual?
ReplyDeletemusic fit very well with the piece and the flash editing was excellent.

ReplyDeleteGreat video almost felt like a music video. I thought the editing was done right. Some shots tend to be a bit long, thats about it. Good job!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice in music. It's exciting and upbeat.

The music was great for the emotion. The opening shot of the slim jim didn't really convey the emotion to me. But the cuts of the balls were great.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job, your shots fit well with the excitement theme. The repetition of break was really good. The music helped a lot with your theme.
ReplyDeleteSome of your editing was paced really well. However, the one scene where you are breaking the triangle of balls was repeated for too long.
